Waypoint Outcomes LLC hosts Waypoint and iPowerFeedback for our clients. Data security and uptime of our service is an absolute priority.
Our student data policies are built upon three critical foundations – the way we gather data, store & communicate data, and use data:
- Data Gathering
We intentionally gather (i.e., receive and store) as little personal information on our users as is possible to provide full Waypoint functionality to our clients. - Data Storage & Communication
We store all personal information on servers at a location designed specifically to ensure that no unauthorized individuals have access to the server or its data. We restrict access to personal information to Subjective Metrics employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. All transmissions of personal information between our users and Waypoint are SSL-encrypted. - Data Use
The only way that Subjective Metrics uses student data is to gather it for Waypoint functionality and communicate it solely to our clients (of course only to those individuals at a client institution who need to know – e.g., the appropriate administrators, faculty, and students themselves). We have never, and will never, share, sell, rent, etc. any student data to any third party.
