Waypoint, like assessment and teaching, works most effectively as a grass-roots initiative. We want to make it possible for individual faculty, small groups of faculty, or single colleges (or even departments) within an institution to license our technology. It is a simple matter to upgrade, at any time, from one Edition to another, culminating in an Enterprise-wide adoption of Waypoint’s teaching and learning solution.

Waypoint’s licensing model makes it easy to get started with rubric-based assessment, and to grow usage of Waypoint as needed.

Waypoint is a hosted solution: there is no additional hardware or software to purchase.

There are four choices for licensing Waypoint Outcomes: Fellows Edition, Team Edition, College Edition, and Enterprise Edition.All editions include:

• Connectivity to Blackboard, Blackboard CE/Vista, or Moodle
• Standalone access to Waypoint (if an LMS isn’t involved)
• Webinar-based training
• Enrollment in our online Authentic Assessment course
• Rubric/Assessment consulting

Sandbox environments are also available for testing and proof of concept. A Sandbox Environment is intended for lightweight experimenting and technical proof of concept, including connectivity to Moodle, Blackboard Learn, or Blackboard Vista.

Sandbox Environments are limited to a default set of Outcomes and 100 evaluations of student work. They are intended for short-term evaluation (<90 days).
